Leah

I received an email from Karen this morning about Leah and wanted to let you know what was going on.

"Saturday night, after the Brock dinner, Seth and Amanda took Leah to Children's Hospital. She had started running a fever and was feeling worse through the evening. Her left lung (where we think the nut she aspirated settled) sounded "bad" to Grammy. At the hospital, they brought her fever down, listened to her lungs and decided both were clear as bells, but thought her ear looked bad.  Leah felt okay Sunday morning but again started feeling bad as night came. Amanda took her to Dr. Blair Monday. She had a 104 fever with labored breathing. Her ear was fine but her left lung had very poor ventilation.

Leah was admitted to Children's for test. The doctor's believe the nut is the issue. They will use a scope today  to visualize the nut and remove what they can. Please keep Leah and folks in your thoughts. Hopefully this nutty story will be over soon."
